The L'Étape Trondheim Program is ready
Trondheim is invited to a full weekend of Tour de France atmosphere
On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June, Trondheim will be filled with Tour de France energy, cycling passion, food, music, entertainment and activities for the whole city.
L’Étape Trondheim by Tour de France is a full weekend where riders, families, friends, spectators and the entire city are invited to be part of Norway’s new major cycling festival.
With Race Village at Torvet as the heart of the weekend, Trondheim will turn Tour de France-yellow. This is where you will find bib pick-up, sponsor village, bike parking, food and beverage, entertainment, activities, music and a true pre-race atmosphere. Along the course, we want to see tens of thousands of people in the streets as the riders roll out from the heart of Trondheim and return to a Tour de France-inspired finish at Torvet.
Bring your family, friends, flags and energy. This is the weekend where all of Trondheim comes together!
New: Day Zero at Torvet
Already on Friday 12 June, Race Village opens at Torvet and we invite everyone to Day Zero — a free kick off event the day before the race.
Day Zero marks the start of the L’Étape weekend: an open meeting place for riders, spectators and the whole city, with street food, food festival atmosphere, entertainment, DJ, special guests and great energy in the middle of Trondheim city centre.
This is the day to pick up your bib, feel the pre-race nerves, meet other riders, bring your family to Torvet and get ready for Saturday’s big cycling day. Whether you are riding 130 km, 75 km, Social Ride, Mini L’Étape — or simply want to be part of the celebration — the weekend starts here.
Race Village: the heart of L’Étape Trondheim
Race Village at Torvet will be the natural meeting point throughout the weekend. This is where riders, spectators, partners and exhibitors come together in a vibrant arena right next to the start and finish area.
The arena map shows where to find the most important zones: entrance, start and finish, Bike Park, Info & Practical, bib pick-up, Food, Beverage & Fun, partner activities and spectator areas.
Stop by to collect your bib, visit the exhibitors, enjoy the activities, catch the entertainment, meet Bjørnis, visit the Uno-X bus and experience the Tour de France atmosphere in the heart of Trondheim.

16:00 — Afterwork with DJ Klæbo
Start the weekend with music and great energy at Torvet.
17:00 — Day Zero Kick off
Free pre-race food festival with live entertainment, street food, special guests and true L’Étape atmosphere.

13:00 — First riders cross the finish line

L’Étape Trondheim is set to become a city-wide celebration. The riders will feel the energy from the crowds along the course, children will get to experience the joy of cycling up close, and Torvet will be full of life from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening.
