Race number, start groups and Bag Drop

Start groups

Start groups are based on expected average speed, not distance. This means riders from the 130 km and 75 km may start in the same group if they have registered a similar expected speed.

The fastest groups start first. All start groups will be clearly marked in the start area.

Start area

Start groups line up in Trondheim city centre.

Each start group is marked with beach flags. Please check your race number, find your correct group and be ready in good time before your start.

In the start area:

  • Be there in good time and double-check your information.
  • Bring only the bare minimum – no poncho or plastic bag.
  • Listen to the announcements over the PA system.

Race number on the bike

Your race number must be attached to the middle of your handlebar, with the top edge attached to the handlebar. The number must hang freely and be clearly visible from the front.

Do not fold, crumple or bend the race number, and do not attach it to the bike frame.

Bag Drop

Bag Drop is available for all cyclists. You can leave your bag before the start and pick it up again after the race.

You receive your bag tag together with your race number. Remember to attach the bag tag to your bag before handing it in.

The last digit of your race number tells you which box to place your bag in.

Traffic, safety and regulated roads

More details will be unveiled at a later date.
